Monitor, maintain, repair
REMA TIP TOP AG will be exhibiting again this year at the bauma. The extension of the conveyor belt portfolio, the service software CMMS as well as the monitoring system REMA M3 will be in the centre of its presentations. The company welcomes customers, partners and those interested with an interactive stand concept themed “Get connected”.
Full service in the field of conveyor belts
At this year’s bauma REMA TIP TOP will present its extended in-house production conveyor belt portfolio; i.e. a wide range for overground and underground operation with all cover properties (highly abrasion-resistant, heat-resistant, oil- and grease-resistant, flame-resistant) and cover qualities (AA, Y, X, W, T, G, G+, 1G, K/S, V, PVG, PVC1, PVC2) needed in the market. The offer will be completed by special belts from its own manufacture, such as conveyor belts of aramide fabric, elevator conveyor belts, pipe conveyor belts, sliding conveyor belts, flexible conveyor belts, solid-woven conveyor belts and conveyor belts with corrugated edges. The new Dunlop Belting Products are highly specialized belt designs as well as rubber mixes. Thus, the long-established company can meet the requirements of its customers even more specifically. As a full-service provider REMA TIP TOP is a valuable partner for its customers to operate, maintain and repair belt systems efficiently.
REMA M3 (Monitor/Maintain/Manage) – the monitoring system for conveyor belts
REMA TIP TOP will present its new product REMA M3 as a highlight at its exhibition stand. The electronic monitoring system for conveyor belts and belt systems consists of three components. The mobile and stationary component “Belt Thickness Monitoring” measures the wear on the face and on the back of the belt by means of ultrasonic techniques during the operation so as to predict the remaining service life of the belt conveyor or a necessary replacement. The component “Rip Guard System” monitors the belt in real time. It automatically switches off the plant in case of longitudinal slots in the belt and, consequently, avoids unexpected downtimes of the plant. The system is equipped with an RFID antenna technology. It can be used for steel cord, EP and solid-woven belts. The third component “REMA Scan” monitors steel cords and steel cord belt connections. Thus, defective cords in the belt and damage to the cover can be localized and represented graphically. In addition to the native service software REMA CMMS, REMA M3 completes the service concept of REMA TIP TOP.
REMA CMMS – the service software that can be configured
The software REMA CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) developed by REMA TIP TOP supports the operator when optimizing service processes and carrying out monitoring measures. The company will present the latest version of its Cloud solution at the bauma. The software is configurable for all fields and enables a continuous survey of the plant status, a mobile data acquisition by the service provider REMA TIP TOP as well as automated reporting for the customers. It is a central component part of the service concept of REMA TIP TOP and a complementary added value for customers of REMA TIP TOP. REMA CMMS differs from other available standard solutions because it has been developed particularly for the internal industrial service applications based on REMA TIP TOP’s long standing know-how of the sector.
“Get connected” – convincing interactive stand concept
This year REMA TIP TOP will welcome the fair visitors at the bauma with the slogan “Get connected” and will convince with an interactive stand concept. Exhibits and service performances will be depicted in an easily interpreted way. It goes without saying that experts at REMA TIP TOP will be available locally for comprehensive consulting. Thus, customers, partners and those interested may inform themselves in detail as regards the comprehensive service offer and the wide range of products.
