Hermetically sealed

The technology jointly developed by the packaging machine manufacturer VAI and the paper mill TOTALPACK enables for the first time the processing of paper from the reel to hermetically sealed sacks in a form-fill-seal machine. Compared to conventional open-mouth, valve sacks or other processes, this system boasts considerable advantages:

• The sack is sealed hermetically.
• Only one machine is used without operatives being needed for the individual work steps. Depending on the type of use, the machine can operate automatically for up to 24 h.
