Hauling made simple

Terex Trucks comes to bauma 2016 with an articulated and rigid dump truck package that focuses on simple, uncomplicated excellence. With over 65 years of hauling experience under its belt, Terex Trucks is coming to bauma 2016 with a younger product pipeline than ever before. Despite the slowdown in global mining, quarrying and construction, Terex Trucks is undergoing a multi-million dollar investment and product renewal program. The first fruits of this can be found filling much of the 450 m2 outdoor stand FM514 in Munich in April – in the shape of Terex Trucks’ new Generation 10, 38 tonne articulated dump truck, the TA400. Featuring Stage IV compliance for customers in Europe, the TA400 also offers improvements in quality, comfort and durability, as well as debuting a subtly revised livery. Alongside it will be the mainstay of the rigid hauler line – the 65 tonne TR70 dump truck.

The start of something big

With seven decades solely focusing on hauling, when Terex Trucks says “simple is better” – you’d better believe them. The Scottish company is renowned among customers worldwide for its robust, easy to maintain, durable and uncomplicated products – all features which will be proudly displayed in Munich in April. Investments are not limited to new products, and have also been directed at improving the distribution footprint, parts supply, and availability of skilled technical support.

“Our focus has always been on the needs of the customer, delivering robust, no-fuss machines that offer great return on investment. We’re looking forward to showcasing the substantial progress we have made over the past couple of years, and with much more to come,” said Paul Douglas, long-standing director and general manager of Terex Trucks. “We have invested heavily in product improvements of both rigid and articulated dump trucks and in the dealer network to ensure we are well positioned when demand returns to the mining, quarrying and major infrastructure segments.”

Visitors to Terex Trucks’ exhibition area will see the company’s focus in service excellence which includes aftermarket support, unrivalled customer satisfaction, and improved spare parts availability, all essential ingredients for maximising machine uptime. Guests will also be able to climb aboard the dump trucks to see for themselves the investment in product quality, and enjoy a host of fun activities planned for the show.
