Expanding the service centre network
Weir Minerals Europe will add three new service centres to its existing Europe-wide network during 2014 as part of its ongoing investment into aftermarket care. The company will establish a new facility in Kazakhstan, while service centres in Morocco and Italy were launched earlier this year. The new facilities build on the company’s network of manufacturing, sales and service bases in key territories across Europe. Each facility offers service engineers to help extend the lifecycle of products, alongside a full suite of Weir Minerals products, including pumps, valves, screens, cyclones, rubber, and comminution equipment.
Tony G. Locke, managing director of Weir Minerals Europe, said: “Our customers are under constant pressure to extend the lifecycle of the products they use in their mines and they rightly expect the Weir Minerals range to be best in class. Our service centres therefore play a vital role in providing ongoing support through the full mill circuit. We are acting to ensure our customers are provided with the on-the-ground expertise they need in key markets, which is why we are strengthening our presence in North Africa, Kazakhstan and central Europe during 2014.”
