Change of conveyor belt at the Prosper-Haniel mine

At the end of 2008, after eight years in darkness, a huge monster was wriggling back to the surface bit by bit: the conveyor belt from the inclined shaft of the Prosper-Haniel mine. There the giant of more than 7500 m length, with a weight of about 800 t was received by 25 employees of the mine as well as specialists from the company Contitech and was chopped into small pieces.
