Austrian Mining Day 2013
The Austrian Mining Day will take place in the Congress CentreSeggau Castle in Seggauberg south of Graz from 7th to 8th May 2013. The Austrian Mining Association will organize the conference, having as a motto „Mobility in the Mineral Industry“. Above all, reports in step with actual practice covering the extraction and processing of raw materials will be given in a total of 26 lectures in two parallel sessions, which will deal with the conference motto specified to the fields of processing and mining. In addition to the lecture program, the participants will also have the opportunity to get to know international mining companies within the framework of company exhibitions. The regular general meeting of the members of the Austrian Mining Association will take place on 7 May 2013 at 9:30. The participants may also take part in two excursions, either to the Koralm Tunnel or to the Retznei-based cement plant of Lafarge GmbH.
