Trump Technik successful for over 10 years
In ten years Trump Technik Service GmbH based in Velbert has advanced from a traditional screen hire firm into a specialist service provider for the entire mineral and waste processing sector. Since its founding in 2001, Trump Technik stands for reliability in customer service. Today Trump Technik is one of the leading suppliers of machinery for processing organic and mineral substances. More than ever, the highly competitive markets for mineral and waste processing are demanding individual solutions for long- and short-term hire. With regard to the financing of new and used machinery, Trump Technik works with its competent and reliable partners to provide very individual tailored offers. Here especially, the over 20 years of experience of the company founder in this market segment really pay off. The right customer service is an essential factor in every buying decision and can be supported with selective demonstrations. For this reason, there is a double advantage at Trump Technik. Most machines from the range can also be subjected to long-term testing during the hire period. That means no risk for the customer as the machine can be returned at any time. At the end of the hire period or the agreed test phase, the customer also has the option of buying the machine. This makes customer’s liquidity easier and sustainably supports his decision to buy. During the entire hire contract, Trump Technik’s proven service is available.
At the 10-year anniversary event, Trump Technik presented its entire range from SANDVIK. Competent visitors from Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium were able to get an impression of the range of capacity of the machinery available and hire fleet. All the visitors were invited to take part in a power shovel contest and win a prize with their skilled manoeuvring (Fig. 1). Cooperation with the Swedish machinery manufacturer SANDVIK began in 2010 and forms an important part of the business. The SANDVIK machines and the support of the group and its committed employees will enable Trump Technik to continue offering products and services at market-oriented prices in future too. Moreover, Trump Technik is planning to build its own new workshop and an office building. The starting signal for this project is to set for spring 2013.
A good example of Trump Technik’s successful concept is the recent test run of the new Sandvik QI 240 impact crusher at a waste management company based in Essen (Fig. 2). Together with employees from SANDVIK Mining & Construction Europe and Trump Technik Velbert, Harmuth, the waste management company in Essen’s city port, subjected the crusher in the machine class below 40 tonnes, with a feed inlet of 1000 mm, to a successful test run at various settings with different materials. It is driven by 350 HP CAT C9 engine with electronically controlled fluid coupling. The short set-up times of the machine and the active pre-screening in two stages also convinced all involved in this performance test. The first machine from the Swedish group has been in operation at the waste management company since 2010. The QJ 340 jaw crusher in the 50-tonne class has reliably performed its duties. This machine too had to undergo an exhaustive test run first. Next item on the list is the planned acquisition of a SANDVIK heavy-duty screen. The screen will be an important component in the processing of mixed construction waste containing earth and waste.
