New President and CEO at Hitachi Europe

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) announce the appointment of Mr. Moriaki Kadoya (Fig.) as its new President and CEO. He is also the new regional CEO of Hitachi construction machinery for ­Europe, Russia, CIS, Middle East, and North and Central Africa as of 1 April 2012. However, his varied career with ­Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. started in 1981 after graduating in Economics in Japan. Until 1986, he worked in the Overseas Sales Department, then he moved to the Overseas Cooperation Department. From 1992 to 1998 he worked as HCME’s Sales and Marketing General Manager. Moriaki Kadoya then took on managerial roles in the Finance Department and Corporate Planning Office up to 2002. His first posts as a General Manager were at the Supply Chain Management Office and Sales Administration Department (two years each), followed by six years in the Americas Department until March this year.
