COROFLAKE and CHEMOKITT – the next generation
REMA TIP TOP will be presenting its new products – the COROFLAKE 3000 coating system as well as extensions to the CHEMOKITT product range – at the ACHEMA from 18.–22.06.2012. The COROFLAKE coating system from REMA TIP TOP offers a high degree of protection for plant and systems. The newly developed COROFLAKE 3000 is characterized by its excellent resistance to chemicals, immersion resistance of over 100 °C and dry resistance of up to 250 °C. As a supplement to the proven rubber armoring systems, COROFLAKE 3000 is intended for use in mining industry thickeners and tanks, particularly when the normal media contain organic solvent components. Further areas of use include flue gas channels, heat exchangers, chimneys in flue gas cleaning systems and systems for the separation of CO2.
REMA TIP TOP has also extended its product program to include acid-resistant lining materials. CHEMOKITT synthetic resin cements based on phenol resin, furan resin, polyester resin and epoxy resin are available in many variants. Both the CHEMOKITT synthetic resin cement (temperature resistance up to 250 °C) and the silicate cement (temperature resistance up to 900 °C) are categorized by their excellent resistance to inorganic acids and lye as well as to organic chemicals. With its all-inclusive Engineering Lining package, its ability to deliver all materials including the necessary stone, and its ability to carry this out anywhere in the world, REMA TIP TOP can meet all requirements for storage and reaction containers in phosphoric acid plant, venturi and furnace gas washers in the mining and steel industries, pickling systems for the steel and electroplating industries, quenching and acid towers in the sulfuric acid industry was well as for thickeners and bleaching towers.
