World innovation in air separation – the JÖST AirVibe 2

JÖST, a worldwide leading supplier of vibration and air separation technology, premièred a completely new innovation at IFAT Entsorga 2012: the AirVibe 2. Jöst’s stand at the IFAT was a complete success. Dr. Marcus Wirtz, Director Sales, was pleased with the high number of visitors and strong interest in company’s stand and products. Especially the AirVibe 2 (Fig.) impressed the trade fair visitors and created a lot of interest.

Following the internationally successful market launch of the AirVibe vibratory air separator several years ago, the AirVibe 2 is not just a further development but a leap in innovation. AirVibe 2 is a unique combination of vibrating machine with ballistic separation, multistage cross-flow air separation, fine particle separators and optional screening. Proven applications are the separation of light and heavy materials from inhomogeneous feed materials especially in the recycling industry. Typical applications are the separation of films, paper, plastic lids and caps and other lightweight materials in glass recycling and processing of RFD, shredder scrap, NF recoverables or the protection of shredders and mills based on the upstream removal of heavy and non-ferrous metal components. With its multistage capability and wide range of flexible adjustment possibilities, optional adjustment of the separation process to a wide range of varying material compositions is possible.

For the majority of the materials, recirculating air flow is possible, eliminating the need for cleaning the exhaust air. AirVibe 2 is therefore a new compact complete solution that can also be integrated in existing plants at a low cost. As Jöst GmbH + Co. KG is a globally operating company with its own manufacturing, sales and service organizations on almost all continents, this solution is available worldwide to the company’s customers with local support.
