10th International Conference on High Temperature Filtration
The renown Krallerhof in Leogang/Austria was the centre of interest for 3 days for the latest developments and technologies for the dedusting of industrial off gases and maintaining a clean environment. Evonik Fibres GmbH had invited to its 10th jubilee conference for high temperature filtration from 13th until 15th of September 2011 and was successful to bring together a truly international audience with specialists from the industry. Besides presentations about the most recent technical developments, updated reports about markets and actual trends regarding legislation were explained and offered the opportunity to discuss the information obtained in a relaxed atmosphere.
The luxurious ambience of the Krallerhof combined with an excellent haute cuisine were adding to this successful event. Special interest apart from presentations from plant manufacturers, end users, consultants and government officials coming from Italy, Portugal, Germany and Austria was raised by lecturers from China. Evonik Fibres had invited the top management from the Chinese Bag House Association to report about the status quo of the Chinese Cement industry and the development of the Chinese filtration market in general.
The overwhelming size of the market as well as the incredibly fast development make China to one of the most important targets for the entire filtration industry. In addition to this China is forced to act against the ever increasing environmental pollution due to growing concerns of its population. The fringe program of the conference including a dinner evening at a typical Austrian mountain hut and a fire show completed the event.
