Flexible reaction to fluctuating deposit qualities and changing customer requirements is possible, either manually or automatically, and without difficulty, using tried and proven AKOREL classifying systems, with extensive data acquisition and evaluation of operating parameters by means of a large number of “program adjustment screws”. Either one or two controlled sands can be produced.
1 Use of the AKOREL free-fall classifier
AKW Apparate + Verfahren GmbH has for many years supplied to customers around the world a wet-classifying machine which produces high-quality building sands in the 0 to 2 (4) mm range to defined grading-curve specifications highly cost-efficiently and at high throughputs (around 80 to 600 t/h, depending on machine size), in the form of the AKOREL free-fall classifier (Fig. 1).
