A new project
EXPOMATEC, Madrid/Spain (17.-21.05.2011)
IFEMA and the TPI Group presented their new project, EXPOMATEC, the Infrastructure, Public Works and Mining Machinery Fair, to a large number of businessmen from the industry. This meeting, which took place at Feria de Madrid, was warmly received by more than 150 participants, who have already noted down the dates of the first edition of the fair, namely 17.–21.05.2011. The Director de EXPOMATEC, Santiago Quiroga, referred to this first edition of the Infrastructure, Public Works and Mining Machinery Fair as an event of eminently practical use designed to provide a key impetus for the industry. First of all, this fair will avoid the habitual „mass exhibition“ format. In fact, three halls have been set aside for EXPOMATEC at Feria de Madrid, in addition to the North Convention Centre, the South Convention Centre and the rooms in the different halls where the fair will be taking place. According to the fair‘s Director, EXPOMATEC also aims to help provide a boost for the industry, effectively involving all companies and representatives that are linked to this segment, encompassing both supply and demand. Thus, the fair will promote the active presence of companies, engineering colleges, etc. EXPOMATEC will also present a useful trade and business forum that is profitable for all participants (companies, associations, the specialised press, professionals).
