Entry into the Chinese market

The Austrian manufacturer of crawler-mounted mobile screening and crushing plants, Hartl Anlagenbau GmbH, signed a cooperation agreement with the Chinese cement giant Dunshi of the Jidong Development Group Co. Ltd. in Tangshan/China on 23. February 2010. In the presence of prominent representatives from the economic and political sectors, a long-term cooperation was sealed (Fig.). This cooperation is based on a joint venture with the name “Hartl Jidong Crusher Manufacturing Limited Liability Company” with headquarters in Tangshan, Hebei Province, P.R. China. In the future, this 50/50 joint venture will manufacture state-of-the-art plants for the Chinese market. The production in China is to save high shipment and transport costs as well as import duties in the future so as to be competitive in the long term, in what is probably the strongest growth market worldwide in the building and construction machinery sector. The national marketing, local services and supply of spare parts in China will be ensured from now on exclusively by Hartl directly and in cooperation with the company Morningstar under the direction of Mr Gerald Sturmayr and Mr He Gang.
