Interview
Dear ReadersThe editorial board of AT INTERNATIONAL wish you a good and successful year 2010 including a good deal of optimism – which at present certainly is important for everyday professional life. This year begins with exciting events, which have been organised already now by many companies and by us, as representatives of the press, as well. Above all, certainly bauma in Munich has already been underlined in many of your calendars as one of the largest fairs for construction machinery and equipment with more than 500 000 visitors. In the BAUMA special of our next issue (AT 03/2010) we will present some of the highlights in advance.
Under the column Interview on page 20 to 24 you will find our discussion with Olaf Druschke and Günther Lakenbrink from HAVER & BOECKER Maschinenfabrik Münster on the topic “Closed material cycles ever more important”. This interview also reflects the great expectations as regards bauma. HAVER & BOECKER will present a completely new pelletizing disk – which cannot be overlooked with its diameter of 7.5 m at the exhibition stand. It goes without saying the many other interesting issues were also discussed, such as the 40th anniversary of the company and the change of the location Münster as well as business practices in times of crisis.
Of course, there are other exciting international events on the agenda in 2010 – POWTECH combined with WCPT6, the World Congress on Particle Technology, for which about 1000 experts from all over the world are expected to attend, Hillhead in Great Britain and the XXV. IMPC in Australia, to name but a few. It goes without saying that we will report on all major events but also on minor, target-group specific ones. In some cases this will also include interviews with outstanding experts who are protagonists in the field of mineral processing.
I wish you much enjoyment in reading this issue!
