New pre-cleaner with longer lifetime
The new Quick ChangeTM scraper blade from Martin Engineering (Fig.) features a steel insert with a tungsten carbide tip for outstanding durability. This enables a 2-3 times longer service lifetime than conventional urethane scraper blades. The QCTM #1 MT pre-cleaner is designed to achieve high cleaning efficiency from the start without any wear-in time. Even without frequent adjustment, uniform tension is maintained. The new pre-cleaner was specially developed for vulcanized belts without mechanical splices and can be used for belt speeds up to
4.6 m/s. The high-performance scraper blade is especial-ly suitable for wet, sticky materials. The QCTM #1 MT is suitable both for spring and twist tensioners and can therefore fit 1- and 3-piece mainframes.
